This is one of my Favourite shots at the moment of a Dabchick (Little Grebe) in winter plumage. I like it because it's a simple shot with good colours, a nice reflection, and, well, I just like Dabchicks.............

This is another, recent shot, of one of my favourite birds the Common Buzzard. It was taken from a hide I built about 3-4 years ago in the Staffs Moorlands. It is feeding on a Rabbit.
I like it because I've lost count of the number of times I've sat in the hide and nothing comes, at all. So, when the Buzzard does come down and fills the viewfinder it makes it all worthwhile.
