Well, I live in the Staffordshire Moorlands and so have good opportunities for most types of Photography. I must say I particulary like Bird photography and indeed all the bird shots on my site are taken locally. I also enjoy Landscape, Macro and other types of photography.

I started photography, seriously, about 6-7 years ago after joining my local camera club. After entering some of the club competitions which are judged by external judge's you quickly learn what's good and bad about your photography. I would actually say this is one of the quickest and best ways to learn to take good photographs.

I use Canon gear and up until 3 years ago had two Eos3's. I now use digital only and have a 40d.

So, all the images on here are either scanned slides, Eos3, or digital.
